Mushroom Table wins the The Architect’s Newspaper awards
Less than a year after the official presentation to the general public last year at Art Basel in Miami, the iconic table designed for Henge by Yabu Pushelberg is awarded the top prize in the Interior Residential Furniture category.
The Architect’s Newspaper celebrates the table’s minimal design and functionality, inspired by the special collaboration between the Italian brand and the renowned architect duo.
The particular form with two levels and two bases along with the ancient fusion technique of using floor molds give the table its distinctive “mushroom” characteristic that, thanks also to this new prestigious recognition, its fame is only reaffirmed, rightfully becoming an iconic product in the Henge collection.

Henge at Salone del Mobile 2017
The unveiling of the 2017 design collection by Massimo Castagna along with the special collaboration with the global design studio Yabu Pushelberg at Salone del Mobile was an incredible success. We want to thanks all those who helped make Milan Design Week amazing by visiting our atelier 7 Via della Spiga and stopping by our stand at Salone del Mobile.
Under the artistic direction of Massimo Castagna, the brand conveys its contemporary vision of craftsmanship leading to a quality manifesto of a luxury that recoils from the impeccability of serial industrial productions and is oriented towards the uniqueness of materials and shapes.
Henge’s manufacturing lab introduces the new finishings, expanding the available range. The H Silver finishing is offered in two versions, the H Silver S, Henge’s distinctive burnished silver with a shinier and brighter note, and the H Silver Black, a darker burnished finishing featuring a more intense feel; H Drama, veined brass finishing. Or yet again, the new Shine Brass processes in glossy brass, and the brass and bronze Sand casting technique creating a matte, irregular, textural effect.
For the 2017 collection, Henge employs new materials such as Silver brown wave soft, a black stone contaminated by a lighter grey veining, and the new precious nappa leather, Sense, with its earthy tones ranging between rust and tobacco or charcoal grey.

Palazzo del Sol – A world apart
Palazzo del Sol is the newest luxury residential building on Miami’s famed Fisher Island. The exclusive construction was recently completed, bringing more contemporary design and architecture to the Mediterranean-style island. Henge was selected to design a turnkey model home for the building.
Unit 7053, the third and largest model residence, was curated by the Italian brand thanks to the prized work of Max Bonati from Solesdi Showroom. With nearly 10,000 interior square feet, this model residence at Palazzo del Sol is the largest floorplan. The stunning interiors were complemented by furniture, fixtures, flooring, millwork, rugs, and accents from Solesdi’s collection of brands. Henge provided special filter walls, its iconic Wall Clips designed by Massimo Castagna, elegant tables, chairs, armchairs, and the gorgeous lighting systems from its different collections. The entire space is characterized by natural elements including wood flooring and wall accents, Cardoso stone kitchen countertops, stone wall features, and an Egeo marble dining room table.
The residence includes five bedrooms, an office, a billiards area, a formal dining and breakfast nook, a media room, and seven-and-a-half bathrooms plus powder and two private elevators that open directly into a sprawling living area with a 10-foot floor-to-ceiling wall of windows. Its prime waterfront location where the bay meets the ocean makes Palazzo Del Sol a true paradise that delivers an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean, South Beach, Biscayne Bay, and Downtown Miami to its residents.
