A collection made to amaze

Salone del Mobile is with no doubt the highest moment of an intense year in which Henge reaps the benefits of its work. As usual the brand’s new collection responds in the best way at the 55th edition of “wow in design”, showing the new product line in an amazing and eye catching stand.

Henge experiments once again the world of precious and original materials, under the artistic direction of Massimo Castagna, introducing the artisanal know-how of Murano, island off the coast of Venice, in a selection of products such as the new Air Light chandelier, composed of multiple Murano glass elements. Going deeply in its research and manufacturing philosophy, Henge introduces StoneOak® and StoneElm®, two special kind of fossil woods that have remained buried for centuries under the clay of the undergrowth due to geological changes and have now surfaced with an enchanting charm.

During the design week, Henge opens the doors of its Atelier, 7 Via della Spiga, to display the brand’s most significant selection of furniture characterized by a high real value and to make available to architects and interior designers the tools to create a design system in which on demand is the protagonist. Designers, journalists, architects and passionates of beauty were enthusiastic to admire and touch the 2016 Henge collection. The special atmosphere of the brand’s charms and evocative interiors made these days rewarding above all expectations.

Henge’s 2016 collection at Salone Internazionale del Mobile

Henge presented the 2016 collection designed by Massimo Castagna, Artistic Director of the brand, at Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. A timeless furniture collection able to emphasize the brand’s fine craftsmanship and to create a dialogue between functionality and passion.

For the new 2016 collection, Henge introduces many news starting with the precious Murano glasses, or burnished 999 H-Silver® creations ‘Silver’, thick vintage effect E-Type leather and exclusive Web Grey stone. Or again, two fossil woods StoneOak® and StoneElm® for a limited edition of 10 pieces.

An obsequious charm that contributes to the creation of an atmosphere of evocative interiors, stripped down of pre-set schemes that are appreciative of the value of boundless knowledge handed down from generation to generation, representing the embodiment of true luxury.

Henge monograph limited edition

Some books keep secrets, others tell histories of passion and feelings.
A book is a door to open curiously, waiting impatiently for the inside it cherishes to unveil. But we sometimes do not pay the right attention to the door itself.
The first Henge monograph is a limited edition book, a beautiful door to step into Henge’s world, meeting its DNA and getting inside its first Atelier in Milan.
A milestone that takes a picture of a company constantly evolving and creating a new meaning for the word perfection. A natural and handcrafted approach to the relationship between humankind and the world surrounding it. That is Henge’s philosophy of quality.
A quality that does not stop at its door, but includes the door and goes beyond it.

The final rank of a brilliant 2015

Henge closes 2015 among Architonic’s Top 200 Brands, placing itself at 53rd position of the special rank dedicated to the design and architecture market.
The year just passed was intense and full of satisfaction for Henge, starting from an extraordinary edition of Salone del Mobile till the inauguration of 7 Via Della Spiga, Henge Atelier, going on with the interior projects realized all over the world.
The brand enlarged a lot its distribution network, being now present in many different markets, from Asia to Middle East, increasing a lot its business also in South America and Usa. The confirmation of all good things that happened during 2015 is that Henge is one of 2015’s Top 200 Brands on Architonic. The renewed website has collected traffic information over the course of the year in order to offer valuable insights into the architecture and design markets. The list reveals the relative standing of brands, ranging from the well-known to the youngest companies that were founded just a couple of years ago.
Being number 53 in this rank was the best way to end the year and start the 2016 with renewed incentives.
Henge is thankful to all the people that made this possible, the artisans and their incredible craftsmanship, all the partners around the world and of course the clients that choose to get into our philosophy of design.
Henge will continue its process of research working on a timeless design to create unique products always answering to a simple question: “What would we want in our home?”.

Henge at Capitaland Tower, Singapore

Henge Light rings were chosen to illuminate the famous building, Capitaland tower. Located in the financial district of Singapore it is a 52-storey building, the fourth tallest skyscraper in the city.
A constellation of lights, in a ring formation, goes beyond simple illumination.
The formal sculptural quality is very strong, but incorporation of LED’s to the rings adds lightness to the composition.
The result is an amazing space.
